Born in 1984 soon developed a passion for music, cinema and literature, especially writing. Worked as a screenwriter in her early 20s for TV ( Morangos com açúcar – a teenager TV series and other several soap operas) and Cinema. In music, released several singles (instrumentals and anarchic acoustic punk songs) and curates a huge archive of outsider and alternative music (Outsider | A beleza é estranha), as well as maintaining her personal collection of audio cassettes, vinyl and CDs.

In literature, has self-published 3 books until now. www.claudiazafre.com  “Sonhos lúcidos na Lagoa negra” – 2018 – an assortment of poems from early adolescence into young adulthood. “O mundo que nós fomos & as sete virtudes” -2020- a collection of poems based on travels and inspired by stoic philosophy. “O AR É DE TODOS” – 2023 – a collection of short-stories about misfits, outsiders, loners, darkhorses and wildcards with the background of queer lifestyle.  One of the stories in “O AR É DE TODOS” called Daisy – received the first award from the collective as7bonecas from the contest Claude Cahun of literary creation.

At the moment is working on another short-story book that will be self-published as per usual.

Has a passionate interest in low-budget, b-movies and trash cinema.
